Description

Phoebus P350 – Industrial Robot Chassis

The Phoebus P350 is an open, industrial robot chassis from SLAMTEC designed for automated material transport in small and medium-sized factories. The platform is scalable, built for high payloads (up to 300 kg), and features a laser-SLAM-based navigation system with multi-sensor fusion (dual LIDAR, depth cameras, ultrasonic sensors, etc.). It supports configurable map resolutions, optional Visual-SLAM modules, and various interfaces for integration and expansion.

Key Differences (Summary)

  • Lift capability: The main difference is that P4M11 has a lift function (up to ~60 mm, minimum lift time ~4 s) — suitable when the chassis needs to lift loads or position them on shelves/levels. P4M21 is the lighter variant without lift mechanism.
  • Weight: P4M11 is heavier (~105 kg) compared to P4M21 (~90 kg) — important for transport, handling, and carrier/mounting design.
  • Other functionality: Sensors, navigation, maximum payload (300 kg), mapping capabilities, and communication options are essentially identical and configurable.

Recommendation / Notes

  • If you need lift functionality (e.g., lifting pallets, shelf plates, or precise loading/unloading at different levels) → choose P4M11.
  • If you want a lighter base chassis without lift (e.g., easier integration into existing conveyor systems) → choose P4M21.
  • For precise integration details (e.g., mounting holes, connector pinouts, exact weight with optional modules, battery C-rates), refer to the official PDF datasheet or user manual of the respective model — all dimensions, mechanical drawings, and electrical connections are documented there.

Phoebus P350 P4M11 vs P4M21 – Technical Comparison
