Description

Gear set for Dynamixel XH540/XM450 - gear ratio: 270 : 1
Existing gears can be replaced immediately after wear. These are made of metal and have been specially coated to improve durability and wear resistance. The special magnet for non-contact absolute encoder is attached to the gearbox.

Attention

  • Two ball bearings are used for the gears.
  • The bearing of the lower gear wheel is connected at delivery.
  • When replacing the gear wheel, mount it after connecting the upper gear wheel.
  • It is possible to recycle the used bearings, but it is recommended to use new bearings as the performance will be affected by abrasion, dirt, etc.
  • Because the Dynamixel X-Series uses non-contact magnetic encoders, you will need to calibrate the home position to align it after replacing the gear.
  • Use R+Manager2.0 to perform the calibration together with the calibration adapter.
  • These are not compatible with the DX/RX/MX series.
