Xsens Dual Antenna RTK GNSS/INS

Xsens Dual Antenna RTK GNSS/INS

  • True heading via two GNSS antennas, even at standstill
  • Centimetre-level RTK positioning
  • All-band u-blox ZED-X20D GNSS with Xsens sensor fusion
  • Available as rugged housing (Sirius) or OEM module (Avior)

Description

Xsens Dual Antenna RTK GNSS/INS – precise heading from the very first moment, even at standstill

With the Dual Antenna RTK GNSS/INS, Xsens is expanding its navigation portfolio with two systems that deliver precise orientation independent of motion. Both combine the all-band u-blox ZED-X20D GNSS receiver with two antennas and Xsens' proven sensor fusion. The result: centimetre-level position, orientation, true heading and heave – right from power-on.

Conventional single-antenna GNSS/INS systems first have to move in order to determine their orientation. With dual-antenna systems, the heading is derived directly from the position of the two antennas relative to each other. This makes them ideal for applications that start from standstill, move slowly or remain in one place for long periods – such as work machines, mobile robots, boats or stabilised platforms.

The systems are available in two versions: as the rugged, ready-to-connect housed version Sirius Dual Antenna for outdoor use and as the compact OEM module Avior Dual Antenna for integration into your own products.
