myresearchbot – Autonomous AI Robot for Research and Education
The "myresearchbot" is an innovative, autonomous, and mobile platform specifically developed for use in research and education. Equipped with ROS 2, its control unit, the "Robot Brain" with Nvidia chip, enables the execution of a variety of tasks requiring AI. The "myresearchbot" can be equipped with a wide range of accessories to handle specific use cases. With dimensions of 84.5 x 67.00 x 68.5 cm, it fits on any loading surface, and with a weight of approximately 100 kg, it can be easily lifted by two people.
Thanks to its rubber-tracked drive system with four motors (each 250 watts), the "myresearchbot" is reliably deployable both in rough terrain and on flat surfaces. The robot is flexible and adaptable, allowing it to be used for various tasks in the lab and in teaching. Autonomous navigation is enabled by four integrated cameras, allowing the system to recognize its environment and independently avoid obstacles. Control is via a user-friendly app that allows easy operation without requiring an internet connection.
The "myresearchbot" is not just a tool but a valuable support for universities and colleges in the fields of robotics and automation. With its flexible and scalable approach, the robot offers a cost-effective solution for developing and implementing autonomous processes, planning workflows, and utilizing computer vision on mobile platforms.
