These cameras were specially developed for use with the NVIDIA Jetson Developer Kit.
The 8MP IMX219 cameras with various attachments are used here to cover as many requirement areas as possible in terms of autofocus, wide angle, low distortion, etc. with the cameras.
The ArduCAM NVIDIA Jetson Camera 1MP OV9281 Global Shutter 130deg M12 module falls within the scope of the Jetvariety project. This module allows any camera module to be connected to the high-speed CSI-2 connector on the Jetson Nano.
The ArduCam team released the OV9281 Global Shutter Monochrome (B&W) MIPI camera module with a resolution of 1280 x 800, developed based on the 1/4" Omnivision OV9281 image sensor, which uses OmniPixel3-GS technology. This allows it to deliver full frame, sub-sampling and windowed 8/10 -bit MIPI images. It is also capable of operating at up to 120 frames per second at full resolution on the 1-lane MIPI bus. At the same time, the user has complete control over the quality of the image.
The camera driver is kernel dependent. If an upgrade or downgrade is made, this must also be done with the opposite side.
Applications for this module include: security, high dynamic range imaging, stereo vision, unattended surveillance, automation, and machine vision.
