Clearpath Robotics Husky A300 GPU Upgrade

  • Real-time data processing
  • Advanced sensor data processing
  • Flexibility in integration
  • Optimization of system performance

Description

The GPU Upgrade for the Clearpath Husky A300™ expands the computing platform of the mobile robot with a powerful dedicated graphics card, enabling the execution of demanding applications in the fields of artificial intelligence, deep learning, computer vision and autonomous navigation directly on the vehicle.

The upgrade option comprises an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti with 8 GB GDDR6 graphics memory, designed specifically for parallel computing tasks and AI acceleration. The graphics card is fully integrated into the vehicle chassis and is compatible with both the standard Mini-ITX PC and the optional Performance PC of the Husky A300.

The additional GPU computing power allows complex algorithms and neural networks to run directly on the robot, without the need for an external compute unit or cloud connection. This reduces latency, improves system responsiveness and enables reliable autonomous operation even in environments with limited network connectivity.

The NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti is based on the modern NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture and supports current CUDA, TensorRT and OpenCV libraries. This makes the upgrade ideally suited for ROS- and ROS2-based robotics systems as well as for the development and deployment of modern AI applications.

Typical use cases include the real-time processing of LiDAR data, the evaluation of multiple camera systems, object detection with neural networks, semantic environment perception, autonomous navigation and the processing of large data volumes from sensor fusion and mapping applications.

The GPU Upgrade turns the Husky A300 into a powerful edge-computing platform capable of running complex AI and robotics tasks directly on the vehicle, without relying on external compute resources.

Benefits of the GPU Upgrade

  • significantly increased computing power for AI and robotics applications
  • hardware-accelerated execution of deep learning models
  • support for CUDA, TensorRT and NVIDIA AI frameworks
  • real-time image processing and object detection
  • accelerated processing of LiDAR and 3D sensor data
  • optimized for ROS and ROS2 environments
  • fully integrated into the Husky A300 system
  • operation possible without an additional external compute unit
