Description

Holybro UBEC 12 A (3–14 S) – High-Current Voltage Regulator

The Holybro UBEC 12 A is a powerful voltage regulator (BEC) ideal for demanding drones and RC applications. It accepts input voltages from 3 S to 14 S LiPo batteries and delivers a stable 5.2 V (or 8 V depending on the version) at up to 12 A continuous current. This ensures reliable power for accessories such as flight controllers, receivers, cameras, or servos, even under heavy load.

Technical Data

  • Input Voltage: 3 S – 14 S LiPo
  • Output Voltage: 5.2 V ± regulator or 8 V version (depending on model)
  • Output Current: up to 12 A continuous
  • Efficiency: high, even at high voltages
  • Protection Features: overcurrent, overtemperature
  • Connections: battery input, accessory output (e.g., receiver)
  • Dimensions: compact (~40 × 30 × 10 mm, depending on model)
  • Weight: lightweight, typically under 30 g

Scope of delivery

  • 1 × Holybro UBEC 12 A Mounting hardware (screws / rubber dampers) Connection cables

Usage Notes

  • Ensure adequate ventilation for high current draw, especially with multiple servos or cameras. The 8 V version is particularly suitable for 12 V components such as video transmitters. > Verify that the UBEC is properly rated before installation, especially for 14 S setups.
