Description

The MANUS Metagloves Pro Haptic are the next generation of high-precision data gloves: they combine millimeter-accurate EMF tracking (Electro Magnetic Field) with integrated real-time haptic feedback. Operators can both see and feel every interaction – ideal for teleoperation, robotics manipulation, embodied AI, digital twins, XR training and motion capture.

Each finger is equipped with a 6-DOF EMF sensor; together with a 9-DOF IMU for hand orientation, the MANUS Hand Solver builds a fully anatomical hand model with 25 degrees of freedom. The EMF technology works without drift and without occlusion – a decisive advantage over camera-based methods and thus the ideal „ground truth" data source for training neural networks for dexterous manipulation.

Integrated LRA actuators provide vibrotactile feedback per finger and signal object contact, surfaces and grip confirmation in real time. The modular concept („one top module, many users") separates the electronics in the detachable Haptic Top Module from the washable, size-specific sensor gloves – hygienic, flexible and cost-efficient. Thanks to persistent calibration profiles, no recalibration is required between users, takes or battery swaps.

Connection is wired via USB-C or wireless via the MANUS wireless dongle (Bluetooth 5.0); the MANUS Core software handles visualization, recording, export and live streaming into common pipelines (Unreal, Unity, MotionBuilder). The free SDK (C++/Python, Windows/Linux) enables custom haptic patterns, robotics control models and AI interaction environments.
