The NVIDIA Jetson Nano Developer Kit B01 provides the compute power needed to run modern AI workloads at a scale, performance, and cost that has never been achieved before. This kit can run AI frameworks and models for applications such as object recognition, segmentation, image classification, and speech processing. Power is supplied via micro-USB. Power consumption is kept within limits at just 5W. In addition, the kit has numerous I/Os (from GPIO to CSI). Thus, the user is able to connect a variety of sensors to enable different applications.

The Jetson Nano is supported by NVIDIA JetPack, which includes a board support package, a Linux operating system, NVIDIA CUDA, cuDNN and TensorRT software libraries for deep learning, GPU computing, computer vision, multimedia processing and more. The software is available via a simple-to-install SD card image, making it quick and easy to get started. The same software is included in all NVIDIA Jetson products, making it compatible with NVIDIA's world-leading AI platform.

What are TeraFlops?

TeraFlops are often used to indicate performance. FLOPS stands for "Floating Point Operations per Seconds", which represents the number of possible computing operations per second. The AGX can therefore handle eleven (11) trillion computing operations per second with its 11 TeraFlops. In conventional systems, this performance often cannot be accessed because the rest of the peripherals are not capable of it, but this is not the case with the Jetson Xavier series - everything there is geared towards maximum performance.
