Description

Robotiq Tactile Sensor Fingertips – Precise Gripping through Tactile Feedback

The Robotiq Tactile Sensor Fingertips (TSF-85) are innovative sensor modules designed to enhance the 2F-85 parallel gripper. They replace the standard fingertips and enable the robot to accurately detect and interpret touch. By combining pressure, vibration, and position sensing, the gripper gains a “sense of touch,” allowing it to handle objects more safely and efficiently.

The sensors capture both static forces and dynamic events such as micro-slip movements in real time. This allows the robot to automatically adjust its gripping force and reliably handle delicate or irregularly shaped objects. An integrated IMU also provides information about the spatial orientation of the fingertips, supporting complex manipulation tasks.
