YardStick Robotics GmbH is a German robotics company based in Bremen and part of the Rheinmetall Group. The company develops AI-powered robotic solutions for use in demanding, unstructured, and hard-to-access environments.
The focus is on applications described as “dull, dirty & dangerous” – tasks that are monotonous, hazardous, or difficult for humans to access. These include, for example, operations in offshore environments, industrial settings, and other challenging fields of application.
A key product is the YARO Cobot, a robust collaborative robot specifically designed for harsh operating conditions. It combines artificial intelligence, precise sensor technology, and a durable design to operate reliably even in difficult environments.
The goal of YardStick Robotics is to enable automation in areas that have so far only been able to benefit from robotics to a limited extent, and to create new application possibilities for intelligent and safe robotic systems.
