Localino was founded in 2015 as a “garage project” by the two managing directors, Dr. Steffen Heuel and David Löher. Since then, the company has undergone a remarkable development. With the aim of making indoor localization economically viable, new technologies were researched at an early stage and proprietary systems were developed. After a short time, a wide range of possible applications and strong global demand became apparent.
Over the years, the solutions have been continuously enhanced and expanded into certified complete systems, which today enable numerous indoor and outdoor applications. The localization technology has been complemented by interactive software modules and platforms, as well as by a wide range of interaction options between humans and machines, vehicles, and other systems.
At the same time, the team has grown steadily. Today, Localino brings together experts from a wide variety of disciplines, including electrical and mechanical engineering, IT, network technology, project management, and lean management. In recent years, the company has continued to grow in a steady and sustainable manner.
