Description

The Gecko single-pad adhesive gripper from onRobot requires no cables, no power, no air supply, and no programming. Accordingly, it is a plug-and-play solution. It is suitable for flat, smooth and porous objects due to its trackless gripping.

Why the Gecko SP adhesive gripper?

Now the innovative Gecko adhesive gripper technology is being used in small area applications that could not be automated before. This technology, inspired by geckos, enables precise gripping without leaving any traces, even on shiny surfaces. Cleaning is therefore not required. The three different single-pad (SP) grippers (SP1, SP3, SP5) were named for their payload in kilograms. These can be used with leading cobots and lightweight robots. Due to the compactness of the Gecko SP gripper, accessibility to the workpiece is enabled even in confined spaces.
