HOKUYO is an japanese company wich has their focus on the development and production of LiDAR systems for the industrial usage. The HOKUYO UAM05LP-T301 is the so called Safty LiDAR wich is certified by the TÜV Süd and can therefore be used for safety-critical applications. The other versions such as the UST, UTM or URG series can be used for UGVs, SLAM or atutonome navigation systems.
