Description

Seyond is a global leader in image-based LiDAR technology that enables a safer, smarter and more mobile world in automotive, intelligent transportation, robotics and industrial automation. With strategically placed research and manufacturing facilities worldwide, Seyond develops LiDAR solutions that enhance autonomous driving and drive the development of smart infrastructure.

Robin-W is a high-performance LiDAR system designed for mid-to-short range with a wide field of view, developed by Innovusion on its latest product platform. It offers an extremely wide field of view of 120° (horizontal) and 70° (vertical) and achieves a detection range that is twice that of similar products on the market. The LiDAR features a minimal blind spot of only 10 cm in close range while providing extensive side-view coverage, ensuring safe driving in urban intersections, high-speed lane changes, and during braking.

With a high resolution of 0.13° (horizontal) and 0.36° (vertical) and a point cloud density of over 1.77 million points per second, it delivers excellent perception performance, offering additional safety redundancy for driver assistance and autonomous driving functions.

Extended detection range
The Robin W can detect objects at a distance of up to 70 meters at 10% reflectivity, which is twice as far as other lateral LiDAR devices. The minimum range is 0.1 meters, which virtually eliminates the blind Zone.

High resolution image quality
The Robin W delivers an image resolution of up to 0.1°(H)×0.36°(V) and over 1.28 million points per second, enabling more precise perception planning.

Low power consumption, easy integration
The Robin W has a compact design and is perfect for integration into vehicle side panels and bumpers. Its low power consumption makes it easy to integrate the sensor.

Features

  • Ultra-wide field of view and distance capabilities from 0.1 m to 150 m
  • Blind spot monitoring through integration into the side of the vehicle
