Description

The AgileX NERO is an advanced 7-DoF robotic arm designed to replicate the flexibility of a human arm. With kinematic redundancy, the NERO allows precise, smooth movements in complex and confined environments, enabling tasks that are difficult for conventional 6-DoF robots.

It is primarily intended for applications in research, development, and mobile robotic platforms, such as:

  • Pick-and-place operations and light assembly tasks
  • Mobile manipulation on robotic vehicles or autonomous platforms
  • Simulation and testing environments for robotics research
  • Complex motion tasks requiring obstacle avoidance

The 7-DoF architecture allows the arm to adapt flexibly to obstacles and changing conditions, making the NERO particularly suitable for adaptive applications where a traditional 6-DoF robot would be limited.
