CANdle (MAB Robotics USB-to-CAN DongLE)

CANdle is a USB device specifically designed for interaction with MD80 drives. It features a user-friendly programming interface (API) for C++, Python, ROS (Robot Operating System), and ROS2. The USB interface is located on the host side, enabling easy connection to various systems.

The device offers impressive update rates of up to 200 Hz, making it suitable for applications with USB buses, Raspberry Pi, and up to 3 MD80 drives. Galvanic isolation up to 1 kV ensures that the CANdle device and the connected MD80 drives are electrically isolated from each other, enhancing reliability and safety.

With two 6-pin Molex Micro-Fit connectors, CANdle allows for easy daisy-chaining, facilitating integration and deployment in systems with multiple MD80 drives. The use of USB-C on the host side ensures a modern and reliable connection.

CANdle supports the connection of up to 12 MD80 drives, providing flexibility and scalability in various applications. Additionally, support for multiple CANdle devices allows the integration of multiple dongles with a single host, easing application in more complex systems. Overall, CANdle offers a powerful solution for the control and monitoring of MD80 drives with a wide range of application possibilities.
