Description

The RPLIDAR C1 is a cost-effective 360-degree 2D laser scanner (LIDAR) solution of the next generation, developed by SLAMTEC. It can perform up to 5000 samples of laser distance measurement per second with high rotational speed. Thanks to contactless power and signal transmission technology, it overcomes the lifespan limitations of traditional LIDAR systems and operates steadily over an extended period.

The RPLIDAR C1 has a measurement range of up to 12 meters and a minimal blind zone of only 0.05 meters. It enables seamless scanning and measurement of objects at various distances and prevents obstacles. The RPLIDAR C1 not only delivers robust performance but also distinguishes itself with its compact and agile design. It is small, generates low levels of noise and vibration, making it easy to integrate into various applications. Its compact size and versatility unlock a wide range of possibilities and uses.

The RPLIDAR C1 can be employed in home robots, educational ROS vehicles, commercial robots, autonomous vehicles in low-speed parks, and parking space monitoring. Therefore, it can be widely utilized in many consumer-oriented business scenarios. The typical scanning frequency of the RPLIDAR C1 is 10 Hz (600 rpm). With this scanning frequency of 10 Hz, the sample rate is 5 kHz, and the angular resolution is 0.72 degrees. Thanks to SLAMTEC's self-developed fusion ranging technology, the RPLIDAR C1 can provide 2.5D multidimensional information, including positional data and reflectivity data.

Furthermore, before leaving the factory, every RPLIDAR C1 has undergone rigorous testing to ensure that the laser power complies with the eye safety standards of IEC-60825 Class 1.
